However ... words can only go so far without actually getting in the water to get a practical feeling of what scuba diving is so...
...Aquarius offers a first experience where you can take your very first breath with scuba equipment in the calm protected bay of Cala Suaraccia with supervising experienced instructors in safe shallow waters!!!
We have 6 instructors at your disposal to answer all your questions and to make you feel safe and comfortable while in the water. The approach is in steps as both the student and the instructor feel comfortable. First there is a SEA BAPTISM which starts as a short trial and progresses with a few easy but important exercises. At this point a boat dive is possible in the Marine Park to a maximum depth of 12 meters!!! Or you can move forward for more beach exercises, some easy theory and continue on to the very first SCUBA CERTIFICATION!
Those who already know how to "fly" underwater may want to improve their diving safety and learn to "see" what usually remains unnoticed to the untrained "eye" ... and some may want to go deeper or are passionate about wrecks or photography.
Further learning about this exciting world and its complex interactions will teach special caring for the surprising organisms the populate it and to respect ourselves as well.
With these objectives, besides the passion that feeds our work, we offer international and professional dive experience with the best national and international dive certification agencies and organizations.
We propose a variety of courses that you can take right after the first OPEN WATER certification such as:
... or you can take the important 2nd level certification: ADVANCED Diver. This certification requires 5 dives in total of which 4 special dives covering much of the above specialities, and 1 deep dive reaching -30 meters. The certification requires some easy but important theory as well as 5 practice dives to gain safety, aquatic fitness, and important buoyancy control at sea.

After the first exciting experiences you are finally set to get your first certifications !!! There are a few more steps to follow and you may soon become member of an ever-increasing international community of scuba divers.
Based on age and time available there are options in what you may decide to get while in Sardinia. In any case the progress is in steps and both ESA/CMAS and PADI both give you 2 options :
1) Certification to 12m - recommended for the youngest and for limited time available - a course that takes 1 or 2 afternoons and 2 dives to include:
a manual/kit (digital), simple and fun theory personalzed with the instructor 1 or 2 dives in shallow waters to learn the necessary skills for safe diving
Two dives out at sea in close contact with an instructor
--- international certification to be able to dive anywhere down to 12m together with a dive professional
2) Certification to 18m. This course can be the continuation of 1) with another 2 days of extra training (in total 4 days to include first experiences) including :
a manual/kit (digital), theory personalized with the instructor and final exam
Five training sessions in shallow waters (2 or 3 beach dives) to learn the necessary skills for safe diving and autonomous diving (can be done in 2 days)
Four dives out at sea in close contact with an instructor (also possible in 2 days)
--- international certification to be able to dive anywhere down to 18m indipendently
ESA training allows you a ISO/EN internationally recognized certification using the latest standards for safety and personalized training.
